Drama and Performance
Who is it aimed at?
Drama and Performance is aimed at adults with learning disabilities who are interested in performance, film, storytelling, singing, movement and dance. Importance is placed on developing positive and productive relationships through drama and working as part of a team.
What actually happens in the sessions?
Our sessions are designed to facilitate personal development through exploring ideas, narratives and feelings; expressed through movement, dance and performance. This will culminate in a film, live performance or a combination of approaches. We have developed a programme that stretches emotional understanding of self and others and problems that can arise.
Participants will develop their personal and social skills, increase their self-esteem and pride in themselves and what they do.
